Produced in the tiny sand-beaten village of Tamegrout which lies on the edge of the Sahara, these ceramic forms are still fired in traditional mud-walled ovens, fueled by fallen palm leaves gathered from the surrounding oases.
This classic amphora shape harkens back to ancient Mediterranean pottery. Its historic aspect is accentuated by the patina and texture it has developed over the years.
