Thank you for your interest in Mādda. We invite you to review the information below carefully before you make a purchase on the website.

SHIPPING

All items ship from our warehouse in Marrakech and are sent via DHL Express. You can track your order via the shipment notification email. Your shipping fees will be calculated at checkout. Please expect a processing time of 3 business days from your order.We ship to most countries. If you cannot check out due to destination limitations on the checkout page, please contact us at hello@shopmadda.com and we will do our best to arrange shipping. 

DUTIES & TAXES

Our products are shipped internationally from Marrakech and as such may be subject to import duties and/or taxes upon delivery. Any duties & taxes applied by local customs authorities are the responsibility of the customer and must be paid upon receiving the order.Should the customer refuse to pay taxes and duties, the parcel will be automatically returned to our warehouse in Marrakech. Once the items are received and inspected for damage, the customer will be refunded their order value minus the initial shipping fee, the return shipping fee and a $60 handling and restocking fee.

RETURNS

Due to the hand-made nature of our products, small imperfections are often inherent to the materials we work with and are what makes each piece unique. Materials such as wood, stone, metals & textiles may have inconsistencies in grain and pattern. Variations in form, colour, and finish are also to be expected with handmade items.All items from our Heirloom collection are vintage or antique and as such are final sale. These items may have scratches, stains, rust, distortion, etc. Please review the images carefully before making a purchase. For all other products, you have 7 calendar days upon receipt of your purchase to request a refund. Unfortunately we are unable to offer exchanges at the moment. To request a refund please email hello@shopmadda.com explaining the reason for your request. Once your return has been approved, items must be returned in the same condition it was received, with all original packaging and in a re-sellable condition. The buyer is responsible for sending and covering the shipping costs of the returned items. Tracked and insured  courier service is strongly recommended. Mādda will not take responsibility for any lost or damaged items. Once the returned items are received and upon examination, a return approval email will be sent and the refund will be made to the original payment method, within two weeks from the date of receipt of the product. Note that the original shipping cost, duties and/or taxes will not be refunded.

DAMAGED ITEMS

If your item arrives damaged, damages need to be notified within 24 hours of receiving your purchase. Mādda is not liable for damages after 24 hours. Images of all packaging and damaged goods must be submitted for a claim via email at hello@shopmadda.com .
