Vintage hexagonal vase in thuya burl wood
Hand crafted in Essaouira, the mecca of thuya burl woodworking in Morocco, this vase is a stunning decorative piece, masterfully constructed with multiple geometric facets, intentionally placed at various angles to showcase the warmth and richness of the burl wood pattern. Despite de hexagonal shape, which is very classically moroccan, this vase seems very much influenced by the art deco revival style of the 1980's.
