Vintage thuya marquetry accent table (small)

This is a lovely example of Moroccan marquetry from the 70's, mastered by artisans in cities like Essaouira. It features many hallmarks of Islamic design, including the distinctive hexagonal tabletop shape and the pointed arch cutouts in the leg panels.

The rich, swirling patterns of the thuya burl wood used on the table surface is sublimated by the ebony and mother of pearl inlaid in geometric patterns with a classic star motif in the center.

Its compact size makes it perfect for use anywhere in your interiors as a side table or pedestal.
