Koubba Wall Shelf

The Koubba Wall Shelf is a wall-mounted fixture consisting of a large rectangular backplate which features a deep, domed recess and a thin protruding shelf.

Constructed entirely from solid copper, the piece is covered in tiny dimples, every single one of which was laboriously hammered by hand. This meticulously beaten surface not only speaks to centuries of Moroccan coppersmithing heritage, but also serves an explicit function: its multifaceted surface is intended to capture light and transform it into a thousand shimmering reflections on the metal's rich, elemental surface.

Entirely handmade to order by master metalworkers, it stands as a functional sculpture that brings a modern yet ancestral presence into any interior.
